anyone with a v8 and a electric fan for cooling i need some serious help

Hey i have a griffin rad and a 16" s blade fan wont keep my 350 cool. it is in my mazda i was wondering what everyone else is using. would the straight fan work better or just go to a flex fan. it seams when it is on i can barley feel the air moving threw the rad. any help would be awesome.
