Some Shocking news about Greenville.....

me, my room mate, brent (izudropped90) and some other Acro cats got into a conversation with a greenville police officer. the conversation started by talking about SEC football (GA/FL & TN, us the GA fans and him the FL/TN fan) and then went to shocking news about the city its self.

he told us that in g'ville you are just as likly to get to be shot as you are in miami fl. greenville is a training ground for officers in that area. the crime there is bad. there are 52,000 citizens in g'ville and the crime rate is the same per capa as miami. we were very shocked. Hwy 82 is a drug infested freeway. he says that (i think it was in july 97) there were 5 murders all related from gang activity. if you leave g'ville without your shit getting broken into you are lucky. arson, they will burn your shit in a heart beat.

this still doesnt change my feelings for showfest or greenville. i know ill be back andi already counting down the days. Showfest 05 cant wait!!!!!!!
