Ok I know there has prolly been like a million post on this. I have a DC7000 compressor. pulls like 27 amps. I have a 4 gauge power wire coming from the battery to a distribution block in the back. Then I have a piece of 8 gauge going to a ford solenoid and then off the other side of the solenoid with a 10 to the compressor. compressor is grounded directly too frame with 8 gauge. no pressure switch just a standard on off on my dash. I have burnt up 4 ford solenoids allready and I'm curious as too what everyone else is running and seems to work the best. and wich is most cost effective
