HELP lowering my 94 ranger

Okey i think im goin with a DJM suspension 3/4 drop. One my friends is tryin talk me out of buyin the shocks for the front and just buyin shocks for the rear. So I don't know now what to do buy shocks or just say screw it....so could someone please help me out thanks
