what yr chevy alternator is a one wire hook up

I have a hardbody that i wanna do the alternator swap with a chevy one because the stock nissan alternator is only 50 amps and the chevy alternator is i think 120 amps...and its a one wire hook up but i dont know what year it is out of... any help would be appreciated
