HID Headlight Issues / HELP PLEASE???

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!!!!
I have an 03 GMC Ext. Cab Sierra and replaced the factory Low Beam bulbs and fog light bulbs with the Bluish colored HID bulbs. I made sure the new bulbs were rated 55w just as the factory to prevent any wiring melt issues.
PROBLEM: The driver side bulb explodes after about 3 minutes of being on and the passenger side and fog lights will run 24/7. I have gone through 3 sets now (All different brands) and still the same issue!!
I can install the factory bulbs back in and everything is fine!!!
Can someone help me out here! ( Confused )
