whats a good torque wrench for our trucks and what torque do i set it at 89 ram 50

You need a Chilton or Haynes manual for a listing of all the required torque settings. Depending if you are doing engine work or not, you may need two torque wrenches to cover the range required. I have been very happy with a NAPA I've had for years. You might check out Tooltopia.com or Amazon.com to read some of the reviews and get an idea on pricing.

i have the manual so i basically look for the torque specs and try to find a torque wrench that can do those torque's required by the manual?
