Got alot done recently. Tranny x member, carrier bearing xmember, dropped motor mounts, and got the bed back on it. in the next month or so it will have new 2x3 front rails, new tubular core support and fender supports, tubular control arms, yota spindles and rack & pinion steering

run square pipes. 1x2.5x.125 pipe (1/8th inch thick)

has same area as a 1 3/4in exhaust pipe, but flow rate is different

would work if u really had no room and not worried about robbing some power.

bump it up to a 1.5x2.5x.125 and that is comparable to a 2 1/4 exhaust pipe

i think gil ran 1.5x2.5 on his 4.3....he didn't lose much power, if any at all

yeah ive thought about running either square or oval pipe. you know where he got his square pipe from? ill have to check, its gonna be really close. the bottom of my cab is b/t 2.5" -2.75" from the ground. ive gotta find a small high flow cat too. damn emissions.
