Well, got my ranger bed to day! And looks as fun as i thought it would as i have to move the tank and to a bunch of cutting and welding but i'll have pics up as soon as i get them but here is the start.

OH, and I will be looking for some 4x4 front fenders also so heads up will have some more cash soon this bed put a damper on the funds a little....

Today I cut out a section of the rear cross-member and took out the froward bed mounts got it to sit down right and tomorrow I will move the tank to the drivers side weld in the bed mounts. looks as if the tank has to be lowered down about an inch. I will have pics of all the modifications that have to be done.

That's different but it's looking good so far. I wasn't sure what to think of it at first but it is looking better man. Interested in what this will look like finished.

Here is some more pics not done yet but tank is in the right spot next is the bed mounts and extending the fuel lines I'm going to fill the notched cross member with some L channel ://static.mazdabscene.com/userphotos/2014/279/15986/l.

There was a guy on here with the same project back in 2007. Not sure if you saw his thread.

I'm not a fan of step sides. but it looks like you are doing a good job with the bed swap!
