Kyb or Rancho? I know ranchos are for 4x4 but I've seen them on a 2wd. Just wondering what you guys think?

IDK 'bout the Ranchos. I run KYB Gas-A-Just on my 2WD. Love them.

Sweet they seem like great shocks! Are you guys lowered at all?

Yes. 2" blocks on complete stock leaves, torsions turned one spline. All bumps stops in place, and unmodified.

I run stock length shocks. If you go any lower you'll need shorter front shocks. IIRC early '90s Isuzu P'up shocks, are what work. Double check before buying.

My recipe for lowered 2WD is Xterra front shocks and T100 rears, I like bilstein but you can use the on roes or whatever is cheaper.

Yeah I've heard about the xterra shocks and the t100 shocks. I won't be going to low. The billsteins are awwesome! Amazing shocks. I had billsteins on my old blazer. They were awesome! How much do the billsteins run? The ones for my blazer were pretty pricy

I have a Monroe shocks all the way around. I can't mem part number for front but rear is for a 67 c10. All ride great tofether. Front are too long for my drop (9") but are nice riding. I am not going to go to a shorter shock because I am going coil overs. The Monroe ride better than KYB did and a tad shorter.
