Hi there!
I've been lurking on this website for just over a year now.
So far on my 2600i I have been finding it harder to do any sort of after-market mods, so thus far I have not done anything substantial to it.

So far:
Took out the stock Air intake system and made my own from 3" PVC pipe and muffler wrap. I've found that this makes a little difference in performance but likes to heat up once I've hit any traffic. Ideas on keeping it cooler?
Swapped the Stock 235/75/15 to 31x10.50 15. I find that my motor barely has the juice to climb hills, I may have to get the motor checked out.

I'd like to:
Do a motor swap. Nothing too complicated, as I have limited resources, I know some of you like to put MPV motors in.
Any other ways to increase performance on one of these? I tried to ask some of the guys down at part source, and the guy told me a polished turd is still a turd.

Tried to be a smart-alec and thought i could wire in some foglights as my parking lights, and may have blown a fuse, not sure which one but now my running lights and display lights dont work, no idea which fuse it is.

I've got to admit, that is the FIRST time I've ever seen a Mazda B get some air!!!

HAHA. I have to admit, on the landing, the front suspension bottomed out and completely scraped the tread off of the part of tire that contacted the wheelwell. Albeit, the bed was completely loaded with our stuff for our road trip to Portland, so we had to drive it like that for the rest of the trip!
Once I got home I had to replace the tires and shocks, and found out the battery rattled around quite a bit and splashed acid around. I dont think i'll be doing anymore stunts like that in the near future.

Okay, Got the fuse issue dealt with. Now I need to find out whats going on with the ignition coil. Then I'll post some pictures up!

Well, I checked to see if it was my distributer, and it was still good. So i replaced the ignition coil, and it still wont start. ideas?

replaced the spark plugs, distributer cap and rotor today. Sounds nicer when I'm trying to crank it over, but still nothing.
Time to start looking at the injector system...

THANK GOD!
Wires after the relay turned out to be faulty, started on the first try when I fixed them up, sounds nicer with all the new ignition parts.

Went ahead and threw some seafoam into my main vaccuum line and cleaned out the bitch. YUM!
Oil's all changed and threw in some lucas hd oil stabilizer in it.
During my oil change, it looks like the automatic transmission fluid has been leaking, so it looks like that's in order.

Ended up cutting out the stock muffler about 3" past the catalytic converter and threw on some $25 'glasspack' with a 90* just before my rear tire, I'd tell you what it sounds like, but I didnt get time to throw the 'cold air intake' back in. Besides, it's no fun working on your car without a garage when it gets around -25!!

Oh, and I'll take a day to take some pictures for you guys!

Took it out for a test ride today. I may have to rethink my exhaust strategy, on account of it being too damn loud!!
