Old school Blazer

So we know mazdadropped had a mazda I was going to help fix but it died a horrible death and could not be fixed it was to far gone so he has decided to build alittle blazer with my input and help building his new ride here are a few STARTER pics of the frame.







I still have abit to go on the frame and got to flip it over and finish welding but I think its coming along okay.

Good starting point.

Something about this doesn't seem right. Is it just camera angle? Driver and passenger side rails look funny just behind the front suspension...




Otherwise looks like a good start. I have a buddy that works at a custom shop 2 blocks from my house that is building a full frame for his 2000 taco including all sorts of one off parts. Uca's, lca's, everything. He doesn't have it all one piece, but he's probably got 60 hours or more in the front clip alone and its not even finished

It looks like a mini z of the frame. But mostly camera angle to me.

Can I ask what you did with the old Mazda?

There is a little difference in the 2 sides on the original frame as I used the old frame as the jig to a point but ya in the pic the camera angle sure does make it look off more than it is

heres a few more pics of the frame I am hoping by the end of the week I will have the frame all finished up well welding it up got to flip it over tomorrow and finish underneath then a few more placed gussets and then onto the four link.
