"Tack welds" best advice I can give. It's nice to get a full weld around the filler panel but in reality it is not necessary. I did a tack weld on the left side, then the right side. Top, then bottom. Now start over with the pattern about 1/4 away from the previous tack weld in that area. May not be the correct way to do it but it worked for me.

tack tack tack tack tack tack.....I like having something else to work on when i am messing with this stuff so i dont go to fast on one piece... I get antsy...So while im shaving mine currently...ive got both doors, keyholes, and a couple other things im skipping between so things have time to cool before hitting with another tack

these guys give good advice. if you question at all you are going to fast then you probably are.

You just need to take your time and skip around when you are tacking in your filler. You can try a wet rag to cool the tack down. You will not get away from it warping but it will keep the damage down.
Good luck!

yeah the wet rag around where you are welding, keeping it wet and cool should help keep the warping to a minimum.

Just a tip for the future or other who are looking ti shave their doors, it's best to round the corners instead of squaring them off. It's much less likely to burn through. The body worked door looks good!

Good point Charles on the corners. And from what I can see the passenger door looks great!
