What is a good size tire to run on 18"s? I just picked up a set of 18" Escalades.

subjective question. do you want meaty or rubberbands... since this also affects ride quality? how modified is your truck (how low/bagged/cut fender wells/4x4 fenders, etc..)?
anyways, since I love lo-pros my vote is for 215/35/18s

Torsioned and 3" blocks with a 3" BD. no wheel wells and it's an everyday driver so no rubber bands. I have pathfinders with 195/60 now. 2wd sheet metal.

If you want to maintain the same outside circumference (to keep the speedo etc. correct), then go here:
and enter the stock tire size, then pick 18" as the new tire and adjust until you get it right or close.

For example, stock 205/74R14 matches within .1" circumference with a 225/45R18.

If you want a wider tire, then a 245/40R18 is pretty close. Stock, narrrow, width of 205, you'd need a 205/50R18.

I'm pretty sure I'm running 225/45R18 on mine.
