stock nissan/toyota 6X5.5 rim fitment question

so i want a cheap set of 4x4 rims cause the aftermarket ish that came with my truck is garbage. i have been perusing craigslist and have seen mmore than a few decent sets for around 100 bucks and was wondering if anyone has tried to put some of these early 90's six lugs on their 4x4. im kinda retarded when it comes to offsets and all that fun stuff. if anyone has their two cents id be glad to learn something new.
