No where else i could put this but I'm having trouble opening my front calipers in order to reinstall them over the rotor and bolt them to the spindle. I'm trying to use C clamps but no matter what the clamp is in the way when i try to reinstall them. Any suggestions or tips to get them done guys?

I'm trying to get my truck on the road as fast as possible and cant figure this out.

When u use the clamp do they open at all? If they open U should be able to remove the clamp and slide them back on.

open your brake fluid res. to allow pressure out. your caliber shouldn't come out on its own. if you depress it with the c-clamp it should stay, if it doesn't theres something wrong with it. shouldn't have to leave the clamp on there to re-install, also dont use the clamp directly on the caliper. use an old brake pad to protect it from any damage.

do they slide over at all? or once you pull the c clamp does the caliper close by itself?
