My 91 B2600i 2x4 intake resonator chamber broke and I was wondering if there is any way to repair it and or does anybody know a website i can purchase a new / used one? The plastic broke around the box where it connects to the intake system.

I had one break too. I seriously contemplated cutting out a piece of sheet metal and stuffing it in there with silicone. But then, I stumbled on one in a pile at Pick-a-Part.

I was able to find one "online" but I wanted to know if I could shove a rubber cap in the whole and if that would help with my gas mileages if I replaced or deleted it from the system?
