You can get a key made from the key number, written down from a door lock cylinder or a fuel flap lock, from a locksmith or a Mazda dealer.

Ya we have 1 local locksmith in town and he wants $90 to cut a new one and I wasn't to pumped to have to pay that much so was hoping to just swap a cylinder out for $25 from the Junkyard?

the ignition cylinder is held in by 2 bolts with round heads, the easiest thing to do is cut slits into them and use a flat head screwdriver

Hey remember these mazda's only have one key for the doors and ignition. So your going to need door locks and the ignition switch to be able to lock your doors. You might be off having the locksmith make you a key.
