FIRE OUT THE CARB

I bought a 92 B2200 5-Speed from a buddy for $750. I decided to fix some things on it so i took out my PS Pump, AC Comp., intake, and all that vacuum crap. I put on a Weber 32/36. I hooked up my heater hose, brake hose, PCV hose, fuel line, throttle cable, some coolant hose thing underneath the intake, and my electric choke. Yesterday it would idle but rough but I have night classes so i dogged it off. Today it won't even crank, but rather shoot fire out the carb. Someone help a brother out?

Your timing belt has a tooth or two that has broken allowing the cam to drop out of time.

How would I go about setting the timing when the engine won't crank?

Your timing belt maybe has broken teeth. That isn't the same as the spark timing. Pull your upper timing belt cover and see if the "A" mark lines up when you rotate the crank to TDC with a wrench.

I don't know anything about timing. Where can I find the A?
