When i pulled the drive shaft i lost some fluid and need to replace it. So where ia the fill bolt at. I saw one below the starter but dont know if thats it.

I fill this thing up it will be done for the weekend.

auto or manual? if manual bolt drain and fill are on drivers side i think. its been 6 years or so since I've done mine but only 15k miles.

I found it and then couldnt break it loose so i went through the shifter....it seemed way easier that way anyways and will be the way ill do it from here on out.

But if you couldn't get the fill bolt out how did you know how much fluid to put in it?

I looked at what was on the floor and guestimated....plus an extra squirt for good meassure. Pretty sure it aint gonna kill it.

the trans only takes 2.5 max. so yes it could kill it.

Wouldnt it just spew the excess if any out through the top or aomeplace else? It disnt really look like a super sealed system

its a sealed system, i think. there might be a vent but I'm unsure.

Transmission fill plug is on the driver side of transmission, near the front, about half-way up. It's a square end, use a 14mm open end wrench to loosen and tighten.
