I have a choke problem with my stock carb on my 1988 B2200 2.2.
I had to tie it down because it would not shut off when it warmed up
Is there a way to fix this.

Perhaps details on what type of carb setup you have. Are you running AC? Automatic or standard transmission? What exactly did you tie down? Can you take some pics?

I have no AC and I have standard transmission and I had to tie down the auto choke

So if you would've tried to move the choke butterfly with your fingers it would not move? Or would not spring back on its own?

It would not spring back on it's own

Then it needs to be unstuck, unless the linkage is somewhat screwed. Did you take off the choke heater on the side to take a looksee in there?

No I don't know where you mean to take it off

A few screws should let the choke heater cover be removed.
