Headers hitting ac compressor

As the title says. My pacesetter headers are hitting the a/c compressor and won't fit correctly. Anyone else have this problem.

My truck is an 88 B2200 no problem since day one. Got a pic of how it looks?

Get a shorter "V" belt.

Shorter or longer? Won't longer allow it to move away from the headers?

Since no pics yet is it an OEM compressor?

I will get pics today. And it's factory. Going to try and get longer belt.
