stock carb linkage

i gave my stock carb to my mechanic friend to rebuild, now i think he fucked up the linkages where the throttle cable attaches can someone post a couple of pictures so i can see there linkages and shit the way he set it up the piece where the cable attaches is just swinging it doesnt turn anything so can anyone help me thanks
