what is this filter?

Just a breather. From the factory there was a hose that went from that port on top of the valve cover to the air cleaner assembly.

ok, thanks. i have that hose hooked up to my weber, and im getting oil blown into the inside of the weber through that hose. so im trying to figure out how to stop it.

could be because you are missing that oil shield inside your valve cover.

try replacing your pcv valve
