Huh. Weird. Well, I guess it makes sense since the speedo isn't ECM controlled, how would the ECM know what speed to keep the truck moving at?

Got me, magents on the drive shaft (usually after marlet) or a sensor in the transmission (usually OEM), someone with Cruise will have to chime in.
