Here's some new progress pics of the mazda. Ive changed the rearend to an 84 model so the 2wd bed will tuck. Ive added 1" toyota spacers to the rearend to space the wheels out away from the frame alittle. Been busy working on the bd. I cut the old rockers off and made some new ones out of 14 gauge sheetmetal. Truck will lay flat out when i get done with the 3 1/4 bd. This is the first bd ive done so tell me what you think.

why did you use flat steel for your back wall instead of the original cab?

90-b22dawg, i live in kingston, in between rome and cartersville. Everyone else thanks for the comments. I used 14 gauge sheet metal for the back wall because i wanted it to be smooth and also it was alot easier to weld the 14 gauge in, then trying to weld the oringinal cab back into place. when i finish the bd i'll post the pics up, still like the front and relocating the clutch master cyclinder.

Finished bd. Well still have to relocate the clutch master cyclinder and cut the front for the core support. Barely get enough lift to clear the tires, is this normal for a 3 1/4" bd.
