Well, my v-8 project is officially under way. it's getting a mildly built efi 302 with an aode out of a 95 mustang. the motor and trans has been fitted and firewall clearanced. i will be posting as many pics as possible and will be answering as many questions as i can. i have realized the potential of these trucks with a v-8 but there aren't a lot of people willing to talk about what had to be done to do it.

ya I have been putting v-8 in mazda's for awhile and ya they definitly have soon potential and by the looks of it you have done some good work. What are you doing about the back end and what rad are you going to be using. can't wait to see more pics bro.

well, i'm not sure about the rear end yet. i may look into a toyota rear, but i'm not sure. as far as the radiator i'm going to try the stock one but we'll see. not sure yet.

dont bother invest in a new hi preformance one from summit there under 200 bucks...

if you want to use the stock one just get it re cored to a 3 core rad and you will be fine.

^^ Have you done this before I was thinking about doing it to my truck, I also talked to Eli that owns the truck below and he told me hes running a 100% stock radiator with a built 383 and says he doesn't have cooling issues even in traffic.
