I have a set of hid's in mine. The lights look great, good job on them.
Thanks for the heads up on the write up, I'll have to give it a look. I want to swap then install HIDs.
Are you planning on shaving the side markers as well?
not sure on what im gonna do there... see the grill is straight and the bumper is curved and the side markers almost stick out past the bumper so i might see about trying to shave it with a tacoma filler...... dont know yet
I've seen that. Which I think if why I see so many that the bumpers don't line up with the fender wells. I noticed on tunas truck (the only one I've seen with a toy bumper that lines up with the fender wheel wells) that the side markers stick out past the corner of the bumper. That's the only thing keeping me from locating a toy bumper, I'm to anal retentive about small details like that.
you can get corner marker light fillers from grant kustoms that are specifically made to work with yota bumpers. they are curved a little more at the bottoms so they fit with the bumper better.
I love the toyo bumper and the headlights.......ugh...decisions decisions..... lol
Looks good though mayne
yeah it was either have the side marker issue... or if the bumper didnt line up with the fender... it would have stuck out too far like having a 99 4runner bumper on it.... so i decided to line it up with the fender and deal with the side marker situation
thanx bout to go check em out
i got a question. do the headlights stick out? i've seen them on some mazdas where they stick out a ways
My understanding is out depends on the year and how you mount/space them.
99-00 are curved lenses and stick out. 01+ are flat and fit much better in contour. Fix them up with minimal spacers and the 01+ line up real close to parrallel on the grill.
