plz dont do a flat, its overplayed and every 16 year old with a honda does their car like that now and think they little ricer is a bucket of gold cuz its flat black with $4 worth of walmart paint.. its a generic look if you ask me..

i would go all black or any other color but at least do semi-gloss lol

the only cars that should be flat colors are true to the "hot rod" era cars.. thats just my opinion but in the end it doesnt come down to what i(or anyone) think.. its what you want..

to each his own

you cant beat a nice shiny black bike in my opinion. Everybody likes black.

^^^I agree...and stay away fron the flat grey. For that you might as well leave it in primer. My car is flat black and I sooo want to paint it something shiny.

I have a grey bike and if I was to repaint it, it would not be grey. Gets dirty just as fast and doesnt look as nice and snazzy. Go bright!

hey guys thanks for the opinions!! i agree about the flat might as well just keep it primered, but to the flat's defense, its a gray metallic 30% flat from HotRodFlatz. so more like a suede... but i think i'm not going that route. i would like to do yellow/black like a stock gsxr or blue/white, but i can only afford one color right now, and i really do like the gray color it used to be. matched the wheels and my helmet (thats available with purchase of bike BTW)
i found the painter yesterday, and the color too. going with a silver metallic, with a little black mixed in to darken it up.
the REAL determining factor is the almighty american greenback. i don't have much of it saved up, so i did all the prep myself and found a real good painter with lots of recommendations from my boss and other people. he's just gettin back onto his feet painting again, so he's up for sprayin it for a quick bit of cash.

we'll see plans may still change, because i haven't got the paint yet, i just 'think' i decided. ha ha
