new tints

yeaaah,got the windows tinted on the Caddy the other day. 13% on the rear windows and 22% on the front doors. Looks 10x better now all blacked out. Had the same guy who tinted Kermit do the car and he did a great job.

dont you canadians get hassled about the tint?

Our laws in Ontario state that the back window,and rear quarter windows or doors can be as dark as they like, but the front doors must have the driver be visible. The front doors are discretional to the officer if they do bother you. For the windshield,you can only do like a 6" strip.

The 13% that I got done on the back is the same that is used from the factory on most vans and SUVs. The 22% I got on the front is a little darker than it should be,and they give you the whole speech how this shade may get attention from the cops and the shop isn't held responsible blah blah blah.

I had my old Contour tinted the same,but had privacy tint on the back and I never got hassled.

but it does look good.

Yeah it is kinda tall,lol. Lots of room inside the car though. It swallows my mountain bike on the back seat with no problem.

Anyways,I spent the majority of today doing some maintainence,and fixed another broken fog light bracket,repainted,fixed and re-adhered my rear door trim molding and painted the grille black.

So whaddya think of the grille like this? I personally think it looks way better than the chrome and the car looks more aggressive now.

Those are a projector headlight kit from TYC. You can get them with the black housing like I did,or in chrome to look more like the factory lights. I bought them on ebay. They cost me $420 to my door. I have Eurolite H1 plasma xenon low beams,Streetglow H7 100w superwhite xenon high beams and Streetglow 100w superwhite H3 fog lights.

For stock wheels,these are actually pretty nice. I would definetly love to stick a nice set of deep dish 18s on it though.
