I really wanted to get my truck to lay in the rear, but I cant afford a 4-link, so I cut some 1.5" round tubing I had laying around, made some tabs with some scrap 1/4" steel, and made a temporary 4 link for the time being, I dont plan on keeping this rear-end so it didnt matter to me that I was messing around with this.. turned out all right! I would never recommend this for anyone, esp if someone is goin to drive with it!! dont do that!!! haha

Ill get some more pics up tomorrow with the bed on (all the way...) I gotta do some cutting...

like I said its temporary, and I know that I didnt measure everything right but I couldnt resist....

my guess is so it works right. Unequal lengths of bars will make your axle and pinion travel wrong. Not a bad placement...inside the rails leaves him the option to narrom the rear frame clip a bit at the notch incase he wants to run some wide rear big wheels. If it is just for mock up...that will work for ya.
