I just bought a set of chrome rims from solow93 today (ahthank you ),with 175/65/14 tires all around. The rims are absolutely mint condition and the tires are really good too.

I just finished putting them on and took some pics. Here's my truck's stages of lowering from stock,to now with the lower profile chromies.

Now,I just bought these to replace my stock wheels for the time being. I have a set of Pathfinders that I need to buy tires for in the spring, but for now, these mint chromies will do just fine. Makes my truck look soooooo much better,I think anyways.

1) Horrible stock height. Looks more like a lifted 4x4...

2)Static drop on the same wheels. 3" blocks, monoleafed, cranked torsions, flipped ball joints,Toxic shocks all around. The tires pictures are 205/75/14

3) Same drop, just with chromies and 175/65/14 tires. Looks like a significant drop just from the tires. I could barely get the jack out from under the frame afterwards! lol However,I know I'm gonna pay for it with high revs and crappy gas milage, and it's really gonna hit me because I do ALL highway driving, from 50-65mph.

I think they've made a huge difference. The truck used to be so dark and dull. Once I put the chrome grille and bumper on,they stood out like a sore thumb, and the wheels just looked like crap. These are only temporary wheels though,I'm putting 205/55/15s on my Pathfinders in the spring. I'll be running these wheels probably till the end of April.

Oh!

By the way those red-out tails look like they are holding up quite well!

I can't see any fading!

Nice!

Well,I only did them like mid-last month. They'll be going up for sale once I do up my chrome trim tails.

But yes, they do look fantastic if I do say so.

FYI - chrome tail trim is removable. Look on the back of the taillight for 4 small screws (top/bottom/sides). Should be able to use your existing lens with the chrome trim.

Rims look good. Just noticed exhaust -

yeah but those screws get very rusty and brittle, and either seize or break.

That exhuast is 2.25" piping from the manifold back with a Magnaflow cat,Dynomax muffler and custom made tips. Sounds really good, and unleashed some power.

trucks lookin good mikey!, the chromies do make a world of difference! if you were to keep them on, i'd get some 195/55-14's for them, a little bit wider than the 175's, but about the same height, maybe a smidge taller....
