$100 is fair. That's what I paind for mine. I wouldn't pay more than $150.

Location will be a factor as well, also where you buy it. A Pull-A-Part yard averages $150 after tax and fees, but on a sale weekend about $100. I often get them from a scrap yard, where they pull it and deliver for $250. To me its worth it because I don't have the time anymore to pull an axle, and sometimes they have 3/4 ton axles or V6 axles with posi and its still the same price. I always ask what trucks they have on hand. I also buy them when I find people parting trucks out. I have two on the shelf right now.
