Those of you who have body dropped a c30 crew dually did you have to modify how the gas tanks mount or do they stay where they are? Pics if you got them.
I had to move mine because of the parallel 4 link. I'm sure it depends on how you b drop it. Mine is traditionaly dropped but my tank is in the bed. I don't know if that helped you or not.
I'm not body dropped but I went with a gas tank out of a suburban. I believe it was a 31 gallon tank. fits right in between the frame rails and you can use the factory suburban straps if you want to add a couple chunks of tubing.
With a 4" body drop my factory tank hung down too far so I made a custom one to go in it's place. The suburban tank I had didn't fit either. It was too tall with the stock rear bed floor. Cut the floor out and you'd have plenty of room.
