Z to lay out - photos please.

Okay so I'm trying to understand what Z'ing is when it comes to laying out. I guess I misunderstood what that was all about. I thought it was only referencing being bodied but it seems that is only half of it.

Can someone post come images of what that looks like or what needs to take place.

So then do you 'Z' the core support so things will match/align back up? Is that correct?
