When droping the rear (flip) do you remove the thick spring on the bottom of the stack? Plan on towing with the truck, and dont want any issues.

i know you have to remove the helper/overload spring, i believe thats what ive read. how much you looking to tow? i know your safe option would be to run at least a set of helper bags in rear

Bear,
I'm gonna be towing a 8.5x16 tandom axle box with karting equipment. Maybe a total of around 3500 lbs. I think i'm gonna leave the thick leaf on there. It shouldnt be hard to remove if needed.

Yeah, go karting. I'll see if I can dig up some pics.
I have 2 daughters that race, and I will try to hit a few myself this year

If you are planning on doing some heavier towing I would leave the overload spring in the leaf pack, but if you are not towing anything but lightweight trailers then you can remove the spring and be just fine.

Just finished the rear, and DAMN, its down there. Dont see any of these trucks around here like this. Sit a little higher in the front, but I think it will settle after driven. Gonna try to do the alignment today on front. Gettin pumped to drive this thing. I'll get some pics as soon as I get it outside. Lockone, I did leave the thick spring on the rear. But I think I may still need a helper bag, any sugestions?
