Spicer and non spicer AXLE

Whats the differance? i found out this weekend that mine has spicers. just wondering whats the diff?

Spicer is a manufacturer. The company is called Dana Spicer, so since you have a DANA 70 and not the Corp. 14 bolt, you have a spicer axle. As far as 73-87s the 14 bolts were in cab and chassis and single wheel one tons, also early 3/4 tons and later HD 3/4 tons had them.
