Disc brake conversions

Here is a site I found that sells all the parts to convert drum dually rear axle to disc. FYI

Kit looks ok but...."Press the wheel studs into the hub along with the aluminum spacer"....
I don't think my dually would like that....any thoughts people?

It isn't a extension of the stud to the wheel. If it was run on the outside before the wheel went on then I would be concerned. The stud is in no threat of deflection the way it is positioned on the other side of the hub away from the wheel. The only other way it can work is to offset the caliper bracket to eliminate the spacer. But 16's would not fit if this was done.

Or buy a late model DRW complete axle and do the swap................................

I have this conv. on my c30 14 bolt....real nice. I have some pics on my project page!
