rear flip kit

So i have a rear DJM flip kit off of a newer chevy what im wondering is if i can use it on my 79 dually. I would have to grind out the saddles for the axle cause they r to small for the 14 bolt please let me know what yall think it will save me some cash.

Most flip kits are uninversal there are just some minor differences from year to year. You should be ok as long as your axle pins give the rearend the correct pinion angle and hold the rearend from rolling on itself.
