Just installed a 5/7 DJM drop on my 94 CCD today. I wish it were bags, but my girl bought me the drop kit, so I can't complain. I measured at the fender lips and noticed the passenger side is about 1" lower. Is this common? Everything is installed correctly. I forgot to measure before I dropped it, so I don't know if it was like that. Not really a big deal, cuz hopefully I will be bagging it before long. Any ideas?

sounds like you have the good ol' chevy gangsta lean problem. most chevy trucks have it.... later, brian

Thats what I figured. Oh well, guess I will have to live with it until I can bag it.

this might not help, but when i bagged my truck i noticed the sway bar end bolts wern't the same length. i don't know if it was a ho-chi guy that had it before me. but i put even length ones on it. also could the spring be seated correctly in the pocket? i think it has a grove for the end of the spring. donno if that would make a difference?

I had the same problem last week when I lowered mine. It turned out the spring had fallen out of the upper pocket/fingers and was sitting uneven. I pulled the spring and could see where the fingers had pushed the paint off, so I reinstalled it and the truck sits level now.

Yea I am pretty sure the springs are seated correctly. Plus its so little of a difference it's hardly worth pulling the suspension apart. I'll stick it out til I can bag it.
