i have a question on the old body style duallys like a 86 wat is the most u can traditionaly body drop these trucks on 22s? and on the 22s and 19s do u need to narrow the rearend? i wanna body drop it the most i can on either 22s are 19s?

you can go about 4.5" on 22"s. The rear fenders will need to be stretched up, possible outward depending on what wheels you run.

3/4 ton rear is wider cause of it being a single rear wheel axle. (assuming its a 14 bolt) You use the axle tube, and axles and bolt on the dually hubs and that would be narrower.

This link is mostly right, some of the axle widths are not 100%, but it gives you a idea on what to do.
