Supercharged B

Anybody ever seen an 86-93 B that's been supercharged instead of turbo'd? I'm kicking the idea around. I think since I need to custom fab an intake manifold for efi I'd rather just only fab that side of the motor. Cause if you go the turbo route you will have to fab an exhaust manifold as well. The supercharger route should provide much needed power at the low rpm range and avoid underhood temp problems along with a no lag power boost.
I was thinking using a junkyard super charger from an old Pontiac or Buick 3.8. They can be found fairly cheap. Thoughts?
