So I have a rebuild kit ready to be dug into, but I had some plans to get a Weber before it actually happens. So the main question is, 32/36 or 38/38? I don't really care all that much for gas mileage. Just want a option that ill be happy with down the road because I'm going to be getting a pacesetter also with a custom fabbed exhaust. Thanks!

All I can add is that I've been happy with my genuine Redline Weber 32/36 DGEV on my '88 B2200 since end of 2005.

Either one: make sure the adapter plates are sanded perfectly flat.

So I jumped the gun and got the 38, does it require a fuel regulator?

Folks who have this one seem to like it, like more power produced. If yours is automatic and has an electric fuel pump, you'll need a fuel pressure regulator.

5-speed with mechanical fuel pumps do not need such pressure regulator, I don't have one.

Ahh I see, I do have the 5spd.

I have a 92 B2200 with a 32/36 <AT with electric pump. I have a fuel pressure reg, but really dont need it. The FI trucks need the regulator.bj
