I was wondering if anyone can tell me if I can get rid of the vacuum hoses while keeping the stock intake manifold and stock carburetor. I have a 1988 b2200 and I just replaced the head and all the gaskets as well. I haven't hooked all the vacuum hoses back up because I am note sure of the placement of some of them. Any help would be most appreciated

You need to keep them with the stock carburetor. You also need to remember to re-torque the head between 500 and 1000 miles.

Here's a link to the vacuum line routing diagram.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback and the link. I already removed the exhaust tubes that run to the air breather though. Is that gonna cause problems?
