From a local place...ie Home Depot, Lowes...etc. I need to raise the rear of my tranny tunnel and want to do it this weekend so I would like to find a decent seam sealer here in town I can get. I know the two part sealers are the best but what have you guys used that works good regardless?
Thanks
go to an automotive paint store.
Most regular auto parts stores carry automotive seam sealer. A little more expensive than regular old silicon or whatever but a MUCH better product.
Check out your local auto body places, I just used 3m Fast and Firm on a job and it was great, it is set up to be used with a regular caulk gun, where most of the stuff requires a special gun because it is a 2 part mix.
if your in a jam, windshield urethane will work and can be painted over.
I use only Fusor in the tube, dont remember which # but its excellent and not runny like the stuff from Napa. I also use Transstar brushable type when needed.
finishmaster on blountstown hwy carries all ur autobody needs
