any way to remove defogger wires from rear window?

hello i was wondering it anyone has removed the defogger wires from a rear window. my expedition has clear glass but the wires really bother me and id like to relove them if i can. As far as i know you cant get them without the wires so this is my only option. thanks for any info i can get

I tried Airplane stripper & even that would not touch these!!
I may just replace my rear glass as, got some welding /grinding damage.:BEERCHUG:

razor blade scrape it off.....

Has anyone tried using an echant like you would use for making a printed circut board to disolve them off the glass? Not sure if it would work or not but might be worth a shot.

use a nice new razor blade take ur time doing it then buff the glass
