how to cut a square hole?

i need some ideas on how to cut out a square hole for some rocker switches. the only thing i can think of is drill a hole the square it up with a die grinder. or cut it on the mill maybe? but id still have to square the corners.

is it in plastic? ive used a dremel w/ a cut-off wheel before. if you go slow, its cake. a small drill bit, then using an air saw will work too
