hidden hinges

Building a compartment in my bed and was looking for some pics of hidden hinges or what hinges people are usingthanks

My room mate is using trunk hinges that he picked up at the junkyard. These ones just happen to be BMW hinges, but pretty much all of em work. These ones had the gas struts on em, so it would hold the door up when it's opened.
