Motor Mount Question----Nissan D21 Hardbody

I was wondering if it was possible to remove the rubber blocks that are between the two mounts....or is it possible to cut them down an inch or so?



I have clearance between the oil pan and crossmember to lower it down about an inch.

If you solid mount your motor you need to solid mount your tranny as well!

why not just make a vertical cut on the bracket thats bolted to the block drop your engine down then reweld and gusset that bracket.

Guess what fit?



When we were putting the motor in we just new it wasnt going to fit and I wasnt going to cut my hood.

still have like 2 inches from hitting the hood.
