glass????

i seen the post of scratches on glass...

but i was curious if a windshield has a crack can that be repaired? i know chips can seen them done before. but my cracks like 2 feet long..... its in a 61 cadillac... i think a 62 impalas windshields the same. also i know a 62 cadillacs the same. just dont want to pay alot for one if it can be fixed?

also when i got the car the thing was prevously sandblasted. but who ever done it never took windows out and on passnger side they is a strip about 2 inches wide in middle of glass. the blasted also front door and rear door. its not bad. its enough you can tell though. can that be scuffed out and buffed. if not its just a flat panel of glass i can maybe have some cut......just curious about them things.. thanks
